The Importance of a Good Project Manager with a Licensed, Responsible Company

A experienced, trained, smart, responsible project manager is every owner’s goal. The companies and project managers listed above, in our opinion, are some of the best in the Bay Area. Please speak directly with the person listed. If you do hire someone from the list tell them you are working with American Air Testing. John can have a conversation with that person, with your permission, that will make your project much more on target (cheaper). We receive NO referral fees from any company/person listed. We provide this list as a resource for people needing quality companies to fix their environmental problems. We will work with any remediation/abatement company you choose.  We do advise you to have a written contract, obtain 3 quotes, and have licenses and insurance documents with your quote.

And Above All Else when Working With Mold Find the Leaks First!

If you have a general contractor figure out your puzzle of where’s the leak, most contractors don’t have the proper equipment to do environmental testing, or the experience and training necessary. Contractors usually have a financial stake in finding environmental problems. Contractors do not understand the liabilities of tearing into properties built before the 1980s; specifically contamination with asbestos and lead; as well as a toxic mold if the containment and engineering controls aren’t constructed and maintained correctly. To really find your leak try this company: American Leak Detection.

If you have a remediation contractor figure out your puzzle contractors usually have a financial stake in finding environmental problems. Some remediation contractors are very honest. Some remediation contractors have training and equipment; others, well, not so much. Always ask to see licenses, insurance and an agreement with a complete scope of work with completion time.
