Description: It is often found in soil and plant material. It is characterized by moderately rapid growth, powdery texture, and white/yellow/beige to yellow/green or emerald green coloration. For indoor growth this fungus is often found in buildings with humidity and ventilation problems.
As a toxigenic agent, it produces sterigmatocystin.
