Toxic Mold - Mold Status Report

If you do have a mold or microbial problem in your building you will need a document that identifies the problems and outlines what needs to be done to correct them.  That's what we give you in our reports.

The on-site inspection usually lasts 1-3+ hours depending on the size of the building inspected.

Before the appointment, there is a questionnaire that is completed by the occupant or owner.  This assists us in identifying the history of water intrusion, and that's where we will find mold.  The last page of the questionnaire summarizes any physiological symptoms that the occupants might be experiencing.

During the first hour of the physical inspection particle meter, moisture meter, temperature and humidity readings are taken. We also use an infrared camera to find areas of moisture. We reviews these findings with you and a advise you on necessary testing.  If mold is suspected, air and/or swab bulk samples of the area will be taken and delivered to a licensed environmental lab for analysis.

All the data is gathered together and presented in your report.

Your report is usually delivered by email.  After you receive your report please take a few moments to review it and then give us a call to discuss any additional questions or concerns.

If you do have a toxic mold remediation, we will be here for you throughout the process to answer any questions or concerns that you will have.

We can combine the Mold Status Report with other reports, as needed. For example, a house was flooded and has both a sewage and a mold problem.
